Matilda is our 1976 right hand drive Australian VW camper van conversion fully refurbished inside and out featuring alloy wheels, louvre window and traditional style VW camper van roof rack. She sleeps 2 in her cosy 1 metre wide rock n roll bed plus 2 in the drive away awning if needed. We can provide airbed(s) and bedding at extra cost if you are flying down or just prefer to travel light. The bike rack for your own 2 bikes is available at no extra cost. Matilda has a brand new interior featuring removable table and plenty of storage (for a camper van!), a small 12v fridge, four ring gas cooker, sink and 2 speaker CD player and radio that runs off the leisure battery. She is also capable of electric hook up. She has a fuel injected 2 litre air-cooled engine that gives more than a little extra power on our rolling countryside roads.

Although fully reconditioned and refurbished Matilda is a genuine 1976 bus and has to be treated with the respect such a classic camper deserves so be aware not to plan too much mileage per day between stops as you need to chill out on your holiday with Matilda and go at her preferred steady pace!

Matilda needs to be returned clean with a full tank of petrol for the next holiday makers. We cannot allow smoking inside the vans and politely request you respect this.
